Yeah... as you've noticed, this journal is now friendlocked. Lately, my thoughts here have been pretty personal, and I'd like to keep them to myself and to those who at least pretend to care. It's a trust thing. I don't trust people very easily, and even this journal tends to be a watered down version of what I'm really feeling. Don't be offended, it's just how I roll. And as much as you can add me as a friend, I probably won't add you until I know somthing about you. I have no qualms of adding people I've never met, but on the whole, I'd at the very least like to know why you friended me in the first place.
If I've friended your journal and you don't know who I am, it's because I think you're awesome, for whatever reason (usually fandom-y reasons, and usually Doctor Who).
I'm probably the only person in my generation who doesn't really do the techno scene, doesn't have a cell phone, and doesn't find Steve Carell remotely funny. I have theories that I was born in the wrong generation. I need a simple guitar riff to hook me on a song (re: the Beatles, Led Zeppelin), but ultimately can listen to jazz, classical, and indie. But this girl needs to rock out!
My dream job would be a position as a lighthouse keeper, so if anyone knows of a working lighthouse that needs one, let me know. Either that or a relic collecter (re: Indiana Jones, or Evie from the Mummy). Honestly, I'm a bit of a solitary creature anyway.
